Neighborhood of the old-riche, where the first modern apartment complex was formed on the Government’s plan to relocate residences out of the crowded downtown SEOUL – onto KangNam rightfully translated “South of the (Han) River”. Was originally “BanPo” and the term “Gu” meaning old, added when Central City Complex formed to become the new center of this whole BanPo area .
Every larger apartment complexes have a shopping building – some large and some small – and this for the residents of GuBanPo, translating to “Old BanPo” Couldn’t be more convenient transportation-wise, as it is right in front of a Subway Station Exit although not on a major Line -_-
